Impact fees are assessed on developments to help the City upgrade and expand its infrastructure and capital facilities needed to support those developments. The current impact fee methodology and ordinance was adopted by City Council on December 8, 2025 at 50% of the cost needed to support development. In accordance with the adopted ordinance, impact fee rates will annually increase with inflation July 1 plus an additional 5% until the maximum impact fee rate is reached. Once the maximum rate is reached, it will continue to annually increase with inflation on July 1 until a new methodology and ordinance is adopted. All rules, regulations, and figures as adopted by the City Council and codified in Chapter 235 of the City Code shall remain in full force and effect.
