The following beaches are UNDER ADVISORY because of HIGH LEVELS OF BACTERIA detected in the water:

- Weirs Beach
- Bartlett Beach
- Opechee Cove
- Opechee Point

Because of the HIGH LEVELS OF BACTERIA, the water is currently NOT CONSIDERED SAFE for swimming or wading.

Dates Open

Weirs Beach open from June 27 through September 7, 2020.
In-town beaches open from June 27 through August 23, 2020
The Laconia Parks & Recreation Commission unanimously approved the limited capacity of 1000 people at Endicott Rock Park (Weirs Beach)


Bathhouses open from 9 a.m. to 7:30 daily and closed on rain days.


We will not be providing Lifeguards for Weirs Beach, Bond Beach, Opechee Point, Opechee Cove or Bartlett Beach this summer.

Bond Beach

Bond Beach is a resident and taxpayer only beach and passes must be acquired from the City Clerks office in order to enter. The cost is $15 for one pass and $25 for two. This pass will allows you to park at weirs Beach parking lot for free, provided there is space available.
