[ARCHIVED] Fire Safety Education

Kids getting sprayed with a fire hose on a hot day

There are many ways we can all lead safer lives, enrich our workplaces, or help our children make safer choices and react better in potentially scary situations.  We offer station tours including explanations of our equipment and apparatus for various age groups.  Firefighters are available, based on call volume, to meet with your business and employees to cover fire extinguisher use and safety.  Annually the LFD joins with LRGH to offer a senior service day to offer an in home risk assessment of slip and fall hazards as well as assist with changing smoke detector batteries.  We have the pulse on local class offerings if you are looking for a CPR or first aid class to re-cert, or to learn for the first time.  Give us a call today to see how we can help you become a safer citizen.
