The Evening Nonfiction Book Group continues their ecological explorations this month with This Land of Snow by Anders Morley, a memoir that tells of the author's solo cross-country ski journey across Canada in the depths of winter. The author's trek is documented with insight, humor, and reflection. Morley shares what he learns about Northern outdoor culture, the history of the exploration of this land, and winter ecology. This Land of Snow was awarded the 2021 National Outdoor Book Award and the author will be making a special visit to share more about his story later in February.
