Laconia Project Impacted By Critical Material Supply Issue
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces that the closure of the US Rte. 3/Endicott St. Bridge, which carries US3 over the NH Railroad, scheduled to begin Monday, April 6, 2020, will be postponed. Due to delivery issues associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, critical materials necessary for this project are not available at this time. The Department will be working with the contractor to determine when this project can proceed. Once the schedule is better understood the Department will notify the City of Laconia and then provide notice to the community.
The project scope includes the replacement of the Red-list Endicott Street Bridge in Laconia, NH. The contractor for this project is Evroks Corporation of Tilton, NH. This project was anticipated to have a planned four week road closure beginning on April 6, 2020 and included a detour using US3, US3B and NH106.
