Student artwork is now on view in the upper-level gallery space at Laconia Library. This exhibit features pieces from students in the following Laconia High School art classes: Evolution of Crafts, Painting, Exploring Art, Drawing, 3D Forms, and Graphic Design, as well as paintings by the 7th Grade art class at Laconia Middle School. Middle School Art Teacher, Tiffany Nye, said, "This semester, the students focused on the grid drawing method, which is a technique that breaks down an image into smaller pieces and helps with drawing accuracy. Students were also exposed to a variety of color mixing and painting techniques to create different color combinations and realistic textures." The display will remain open through the beginning of May.
