Emotions can be hard to manage, especially for young children. Help your child get a grasp on those big feelings and start thinking about appropriate ways to handle them. We will read a story dealing with a social-emotional topic (how to deal with anger, sharing, jealousy, frustration, etc.) and think about some ways to help solve these problems. Handouts will be available to adults with tips for promoting healthy social-emotional development with young children. This program is geared towards children from newborns to age 5 and their caregivers in the Selig Storytime Room.
