Multicultural Festival

The 2017 Multicultural Festival was a fun day and a great community event! This year's event will be held on September 8th, 2018 - details about this much anticipated and special day will be posted here as soon as they are available. Held each September, this is a signature event celebrating the rich cultural diversity of Laconia and the Lakes Region.

Pumpkin Festival 2018!

Experience the Lakes Region in Autumn...NH Pumpkin Festival is a community-hosted, family friendly celebration of fall and what is unique about New Hampshire. This year's Pumpkin Festival is October 12, 2018 from 4-8 pm, and October 13, 2018 from noon-8 pm. This awesome event is always fun and is held rain or shine; please plan to come and celebrate fall with us! Putnam Fund Shows

Please check local media and the City's newsletter, Laconia Links, where upcoming Putnam Fund shows will be advertised. All Putnam Fund shows are free admission, no tickets required - first come, first seated! The Putnam Fund brings premier entertainment programs to Laconia for all ages to enjoy, and is always FREE! Annual Spring Clean-Up Days/Spring Leaf Pickup

Annual Spring Clean-Up Days are held in early May each year at the Transfer Station on Meredith Center Road from 8 a.m. until noon. This year's event is held May 5 and May 12, 2018 from 8 am to noon. At that time people can dispose of old tires, appliances, furniture or other items of trash free of charge. Electronic waste is also accepted for a fee. Annual Spring Leaf Pickup
 will be during the weeks of May 7 and May 21, 2018. Residents can leave 10 bags of leaves during these two weeks on their normal trash pickup day and they will be picked up free of charge. Please note that leaves and yard waste must be placed in paper compost bags; they will be collected by a separate truck, not by the normal trash collection truck. Hazardous Waste Collection Day

Hazardous Waste Collection Day is held on the first Saturday in August at the Public Works garage on Bisson Avenue. Please contact Public Works at 603-528-6379 for additional information.

Motorcycle Week

Motorcycle Week will be held from June  9, 2018 through June 17, 2018. Motorcycle enthusiasts from across the country and around the world will be here to celebrate the 94th anniversary of this world famous event. For information about the event, please contact the Laconia Motorcycle Week Association at 603-366-2000 or visit their website. Information concerning traffic patterns in the Weirs Beach area during Laconia Motorcycle Week will be available closer to the event.
